Between 3–7 December 2018, we—along with more than 350 National Lottery-funded heritage attractions across the UK—will be putting on a special activity for National Lottery ticket holders as a way of saying ‘thank you’.
To say thank you for helping fund objects, exhibitions and galleries, we’ll be offering you the chance to book a free tour of the National Railway Museum, led by a member of our curatorial team.
You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at our collection and an insight into how National Lottery funding has helped with projects such as bringing world-famous locomotive Flying Scotsman back to the tracks.
Three tours are available. They’ll take place on Monday 3 December, Wednesday 5 December and Friday 7 December 2018. Each tour lasts for an hour, with a start time of 09.00 and 50 spaces are available across all three tours, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
To book, please email our press office on PressOffice.NRM@ScienceMuseum.ac.uk and include a photo of a lottery ticket with your message.
SUPPORTING THE NATIONAL Railway MUSEUM
Across the Science Museum Group, the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has helped fund galleries, support exhibitions and acquire objects. Without the help of lottery players and the HLF we would not have been able to celebrate the past, present and future of innovation on the railways, helping to inspire future generations for many years to come. Thank you for your support.
